Anchorage to Kenai Peninsula - Alaska

Another glacier has melted and retreated up this valley but the morraine that it left behind as it originally pushed forward is left in a large pile in the lake. More small icebergs are floating on the edge of the lake. Remember that only about 10% of a glacier is above water and the rest is below so they are much larger than they appear.
