Anchorage to Kenai Peninsula - Alaska

There were a lot of the plant they call the Alaska Rose around the lake. Our fellow campers had a canoe but used it for paddling not fishing. Apparently you can catch rainbow trout here. We were more interested in the coffee around the fire while watching the sunset. Actually I don't think it set until about 11:30pm and even then it was really still twilight.
