Anchorage to Kenai Peninsula - Alaska

The actual Byron Glacier is in the distance still but this section was pretty spectacular too. Have a look at this cracked edge of ice up closer. Won't be long before it all gives way and breaks up in the rushing water. Not far ahead is where the trail ends and if you want to go further it is over ice and snow.
