You can choose gold class in the 'domed glass' seating areas or normal seating like we did. As you can see here, the views from the windows are pretty good anyway and with four of us we were lucky enough to get the seats that faced each other with a table in between. Ask for those if you are travelling as a foursome. You can get up and wander into the area at the end of carriages where you can take photos out of open windows which is great.
