Anchorage to Hubbard Glacier - Alaska

We passed a section where a freight train at the end of winter had lost one of its carriages after being wiped out by an avalanche. The building materials and carriage were still strewn by the side of the track. There is only one rail track and no easy way to get in there to salvage it, not with the tourist season underway. Have a look at some more scenery from our window.
