Cruise Skagway to Sitka- Alaska

We bought a jade (Alaska's national stone) sea otter from the Sitka Rose Gallery. The gallery occupied this historical house which was built in 1895. After a couple of other jewellery purchases in the main street - amber earings (very common over here) and shell earings (similar to paua shell found in New Zealand) we jumped on the tender and headed back to the ship.
