Cruise Skagway to Sitka- Alaska

This grave was erected in memory of those killed in the battle between the Russian Sailors and the Aleut hunters of the Kiks.adi clan (Tlingit Indians). As we skirted back along the edge of Sitka Sound we again spotted our cruise ship from the walking track. You can see the big difference in sizes of the two cruise ships when they are in port.
