UK and Europe Roadtrip - Brussels

The oldest window in the cathedral of St Michael and St Gudula was installed in 1528 and tells the story of the Last Judgement. The window featuring King Louis of Hungary, his patron saint and his wife Queen Mary, sister of Charles V King of Spain, was completed a year later. Other stained glass windows date back to the 1600s but the majority were installed during Brussels' large restoration project in the mid 1800s. Select the photo below to see more.
