Boondooma Dam, Lake and Campgrounds, Queensland

There are a couple of boat ramps and camping allowed all around the foreshore. At Easter it is packed with campers and caravanners but there is plenty of room at other times. If you want a spot right near the 'beach' you have to get there early though. We stopped at 'Cheese World' at Goomeri on our way to try some of the local cheeses and chutneys so missed the best spots.
