Boondooma Dam, Lake and Campgrounds, Queensland

The other camping ground is not far away and has powered sites as well as tennis courts and picnic facilities. I prefer to be on the water and cook on the fire but if you want to be a bit more civilised then the caravan park or cabins are the way to go. We saw this goanna when we went to look at the caravan park. Notice how dry the grass is? There has been no decent rain here for ages.
