Boyd River, Old Glen Innes Highway, NSW
The Old Grafton to Glen Innes Road is known as a 'convict' carved road although it was more likely poorly paid labourers. Located approximately 120 kilometres east of Glen Innes you will find this old historic Tunnel that was built by a contractor in c1866-68 and hewn out of rock by manual labour.
