Boyd River Region, Old Glen Innes Grafton Highway, NSW

National Parks & Wildlife Service have now opened a new camping area (picnic tables, toilets and fireplaces) near the Boyd River that suits camper trailers, vans and tents. These campers had an ideal spot. We took the dirt road from Dalmorton across the Boyd River and then up through forested areas to Armidale Road near Nymboida. It took a lot longer than we expected but the scenery was spectacular and the temperature got much cooler the higher you went.
