Bribie Island

From the ridge behind the sand dunes you can see the Glasshouse Mountains. Today was very overcast but on a nice day it would be a clear view across the island to the mountains. Somewhere between Bribie Island and the mainland lies Pumicestone Passage - hard to see here. We are told that there are 350 species of birdlife, dugongs, turtles and dolphins as well as excellent fishing and boating
