On the point theer are Dinosaur footprints in the rocks that were made 130 million years ago. Experts say they are from a carnivorous 3 metre high dinosaur from the Cretaceous Period. There is a cast made of the dinosaur footprints at the point as you can only see the real thing at very low tides - it is 30 metres out from the point.
