Fraser Island, Queensland

Being the least popular side of Fraser Island is the exact reason why we like it. For an hour either side of low you may get a bit of 4WD traffic on the beaches but mostly you feel like you have the place to yourself - well apart from the other like minded campers! While we waited to cross the creek just north of Moon Point we did a bit of fishing and guess who caught the first fish of the holiday!
