Coongal Creek can be dangerous to cross as it is fast moving and the creek depths and best places to cross change each time you come. We prefer to cross as close to low tide as we can so we set up a makeshift camp and out come the drinks and nibblies while we wait. Always walk across this creek first before driving it even if it LOOKS perfectly safe.
