UK and Europe Roadtrip - Heidelberg

Heidelberg Castle was made up of a number of buildings surrounding an inner courtyard. Different parts of it were built over different centuries so it seems a little like it has been thrown together randomly. After the castle was destroyed, some of the bricks and castle stones were used to build houses in the town below. Select the photo below to see more.
