UK and Europe Roadtrip - Schwäbisch-Gmünd

Schwäbisch-Gmünd is a pretty city that lies on the Rems River. It was a free imperial city from the 1200s until it was annexed to Wurttemberg in 1802. It has been a well known centre for the jewellery industry since the 1300s. Select the photo below to see the City Hall and the Church of St John ( built in the 1200s and under renovation) on Market Square.
