Tiefenhöhle has large vertical shafts and some open areas or chambers eg the Grosse Hall and the Kleine Hall. It takes around 40 minutes to explore the first 55m drop that is open to visitors. The water that travels through these caves, eroding the limestone karst walls as it goes, travels 9km to a beautiful spring called Blautopf in Blaubeuren. We might visit that next!
