UK and Europe Roadtrip - Constance Cathedral

Next stop on our walking tour of Constance was the Cathedral of our Lady which is a cruciform shape with 3 naves and a square east end. The Cathedral was first mentioned in 780 and until the 1800s it was known as the Bishop's Cathedral. Since this district no longer came under the responsibility of a bishop from 1821 it was then used as a catholic church. Select the photo below to see the back of the church towards the organ pipes.
