UK and Europe Roadtrip - Malakion Beach

Balls of cotton were littering the roadsides as we continued our drive clockwise around Pelion Peninsula heading back up towards Volos at the top of the Pagasetic Gulf. We stopped for a short walk along Malakion Beach on the way. It was 7C this morning so maybe no more swimming! Select the photo below to see the area around Farsala. Are those beehives?
