Album 112 - We travelled from the Pelion Peninsula around to Athens. Highlights of this section of the 'Big Trip' were our beachside stopovers, driving through Parnassos National Park and exploring the Ancient Acropoli of Proerna, Delphi and Athens. We found out that 'acropolis' comes from the Greek words 'akros' (highest) and 'polis' (city) so it refers to a fortified ancient Greek city, usually located on a hill. Missed the last Album?
