UK and Europe Roadtrip - Athens Acropolis

The Erechtheion is typical of what they call the Ionic order of architecture. The structure has long thin fluted columns coming up from a large base and at the top the capitals have two scrolls decorating them. Many of the buildings in the Acropolis of Athens have these ionic columns. Select the photo below to see more.
