Not a lot remains of the Sanctuary of Artemis, just off the Processional Way. Artemis was the God of Nature, Hunting, Girls and Mothers. We then passed the Erechtheion or Temple of Athena Polias, built prior to 400BC to hold a statue of Athena. Select the photo below to see more.
