The Temple of Hephaestus, built around 450BC, is in a commanding position on Agoraios Kolonos hill overlooking the Agora. It is dedicated to Hephaestus, the God of forge (metal workers). Over the centuries it was converted to a church and later a museum. Select the photo below to see more.
