The floor in the original 5thC Tetraconch church has some mosaic tiles in a floral pattern still remaining. Parts remain of the more recent 12thC Megalia Panaghia Church, the first cathedral built in Athens. Restoration efforts have been ongoing since the late 1800s. Select the photo below to see more.
