UK and Europe Roadtrip - Athens

On the typically narrow streets just outside the ruins is the Church of the Metamorphosis or Transformation. It is a Byzantine church that was originally built in the 1000s AD. Traces of murals on the walls inside date back to the 1300s. Select the photo below to see more from our walk.
