Kangaroo Island, South Australia

The story goes that a stockmen and his horse 'Kate Kelly' fell into a sinkhole or through a collapsed roof of a cave in 1885. The horse died. A group of islanders went searching for proof of this story in 1925 and found Kelly's Hill to be honeycombed with caves many with beautiful cave decorations.
