Karijini National Park , Hamersley Ranges

After setting up camp at Dales Campground we drove to the Weano Recreation Area. We decided to get our bearings by starting with the Oxer Lookout and Junction Pool Lookout where four of the gorges converge. This is the view from the Oxer Lookout with Weano Gorge to the left, Red Gorge going off in the centre and Hancock Gorge coming in from the right. Joffre Gorge is just out of view further to the right adjoining Hancock Gorge at the Junction Pool.
