Nitmiluk - Katherine Gorge National Park

If you look carefully here you will see a Freshwater Crocodile on the very edge of the river. You can also see the track he made as he slid down the sand bank. They eat mainly fish, crustaceans and insects, but will also eat small mammals, birds and reptiles. Freshwater Crocodiles aren't aggressive like their saltwater cousins though they will bite if they feel threatened.
