You can't get down into Tolmer Falls plunge pool as there are areas here of particular cultural significance to the Aboriginal people of this area. Also there are bat colonies down there that are quite rare and protected. You can see some of the caves around the edge of the pools 100's of metres below. Tolmer falls is much higher than Florence Falls and the lookout here has spectacular views of the falls and the surrounding landscape.
