South Island New Zealand

We hadn't adjusted to the time difference and woke quite early so headed off before breakfast. After checking out the scenic coastline from the cliffs above Hurunui River, we drove north again and spotted a number of apple trees growing on the side of the road. We couldn't resist picking a few to munch on as we travelled. This was something we never get to do in Australia, pick wild apples, and they actually tasted pretty good!
