Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand Trip

Album 1 - We flew east across the mountain range to land in Christchurch on the South Island. Because of the recent earthquake, a lot of areas in Christchurch were 'no-go zones' so we decided to leave that city for next visit and headed north to Kaikora on the east coast then back again to Akaroa on Banks Peninsula. We then headed inland to the mountains near Mt Somers and visited Sharplin Falls and Rakaia Gorge. Go to the Map of New Zealand to see the entire route and select another web album.
