South Island New Zealand

Banks Peninsula has a roughly circular shape, with many bays and two deep harbours. It is the eroded remnants of two large volcanoes and the two craters formed Lyttelton and Akaroa Harbours. This is Akaroa Harbour which is deep enough for ocean liners to berth here.
