Dunedin to Catlins to Bluff

As you can see it is still overcast with light rain falling on and off. The yellow-eyed penguin nests are well disguised in amongst the grass here at Roaring Bay. They are one of the rarest penguins in the world so you need to be discreet and not approach them so the track does not go down to the beach but ends here at the bird hide. We were lucky to spot one nest not too far from the hide. Select the photo below to see it.
