Queenstown to Haast Pass, New Zealand

Heading back to the Queenstown wharf we managed to get the smile off our faces (pasted there from the wind) and our hair back into some semblance of order. It was a great ride (and I was glad I took my camera!). The ticket also included a trip down into the underwater aquarium to see what sort of fish were in Lake Wakatipu. They had salmon, trout (Brown and Rainbow) and also Scaup Ducks (Black Teal) diving down among the fish chasing the food some of the kids were feeding to them. Select the photo below to see the fish through the aquarium windows about 3 metres below the surface of the lake.
