Coral Bay, Ningaloo Marine Park

After leaving Cape Range National Park we headed south to Coral Bay which is towards the southern end of Ningaloo Reef. The snorkelling is great here too but the corals are a lot deeper down so you don't feel more of a spectator than you did up north where you were right in amongst it all. You can see the colour of the water changes from light blue to dark blue. That is the channel the boats go into and out of harbour. You need to snorkel out passed this 'highway' to get to the good spots. It is a little scary with all those boats going passed.
