Shark Bay, Peron Peninsula

The sea snake and gummy shark come from the waters of Shark Bay. The seasnake can kill you but this is highly unlikely as it has a very small mouth so you would have to try very hard to put your finger in its mouth for it to do any damage. It is a similar story with the gummy shark - they are not at all interested in attacking people. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone.
