Shark Bay, Peron Peninsula

We spent the day driving through Francois Peron National Park which takes up 52000 hectares of the north end of Peron Peninsula - basically everything north from Denham and Monkey Mia. Along the way we crossed a number of 'Birridas', gypsum claypans that were once landlocked saline lakes. They were covered in small stunted plants that looked a little like bonzai trees. This is the northern tip at Cape Peron.
