South Burnett Region - Lake Somerset

We set off through Ipswich and Fernvale then up the east side of Lake Wivenhoe and the west side of Lake Somerset. There were plenty of campers at the two dams making use of the lakes for boating and skiing. Wivenhoe is across the Brisbane River and has a hydro-electric generating facility.
