Stradbroke Island - Amity Point Holiday

A 4WD track into the Keyhole Lakes was next on the agenda. They are a 4.5km system of freshwater lakes and lagoons (not all of them joined). Plenty of birds to see and great for swimming and canoeing. We stopped at one with a picnic table and a wood fire BBQ. The sound of the ocean at Main Beach seemed so close but a hike to the top of the dune opposite showed it was still quite a few km away.
