Tasmania Roadtrip - Low Head Leading Lights

Just south of the Low Head lighthouse are two Leading Lights that were built in 1882 to further guide ships up the Tamar River avoiding Hebe Reef and other rocky hazards. They replaced earlier navigation beacons laid at the entrance to the river since 1804.
