Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 9 - Cape Portland to Liffey Falls |
Album 9 - This week we travelled from the most north-easterly point of Tasmania, Cape Portland, to Liffey Falls near the Great Western Tiers in the central part of Tasmania. Highlights this week include Petal Point campground which had amazing views across to Cape Portland on the other side of Foster Inlet. We saw little penguins at Low Head, seahorses at Beauty Point and loved doing the Zig Zag walk around Cataract Gorge at Launceston. Our last campspot this week was beside Liffey Creek in Liffey Falls State Reserve. It was definitely one of our favourite spots, especially as we saw platypus in the creek and the walk to the falls was stunning. See our Tasmania Route Map but don't forget to come back and see these photos. Missed the last Album? See Week 8 of our Tasmania Roadtrip. |
