Tasmania Roadtrip - Paper Beach

We set up camp not far south of Deviot at Paper Beach on the Tamar River (free camp). It is not really a river but more a very long tidal estuary that is navigable all the way south to Launceston. We walked the sandy beach in both directions and came across a mound of oyster shells that were commonly found here once.
