Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 11 - East Gippsland to Yuraygir NP |
Album 11 - This is our last week of the Tasmania Roadtrip. We travel from Victoria north through New South Wales on our way back to Brisbane. We passed through some of the worst of the Victorian and NSW bushfire affected areas but were still able to see and do most things. As they said, 'we are still open for business!' Mallacoota in East Gippsland, Victoria, was a highlight of this part of the trip as was Mimosa Rocks on the southern NSW coast. Budderoo National Park is inland from Kiama where you can visit the stunning Carrington Falls and some spectacular scenery and swimming holes. The 'Waterfall Way' from Armidale to Dorrego is a scenic drive you definitely should include on your bucket list. Finally we camped at some of the beautiful NSW beaches in Yuraygir National park. See our Tasmania Route Map but don't forget to come back and see these photos. Missed the last Album? See Week 10 of our Tasmania Roadtrip. |
