UK and Europe Roadtrip - Canakkale

Our first stop on the other side was Canakkale. This four floor 20m high Clock Tower was built in 1897. The nearby Çimenlik Castle was built in 1452 opposite the Kilitbahir Castle at the narrowest point of the Dardanelles. It is now part of the Çanakkale Naval Museum. Select the photo below to see more.
