UK and Europe Roadtrip - West Coast Turkey

Album 108 - We travelled from Eceabat, on the Gallipoli Peninsula, across to Canakkale by car ferry. We then drove south along the coastal route with stops at various archaeological sites. Highlights were the ruins of the ancient cities of Troia/Troy, Alexandria Troas, the Apollon Smintheion, Assos Behramkale and the Pergamon Acropolis near Bergama. We camped next to the beaches and bays on the clear blue Aegean Sea whenever possible. The coastal drives as we head towards Foca are just beautiful! Missed the last Album?
