UK and Europe Roadtrip - Colchester

We stopped next in Colchester at the Bourne Mill, which is another National Trust property.  A group of Benedictine monks were thought to have dammed Bourne Brook in the 11th century creating the mill pond. This was built as a fishing lodge in 1591. Select the photo below to see the mill pond.
