Sailing the Whitsunday Islands - Queensland
The trip from Airlie Beach Harbour to the Islands took about 3 hours. We had quite a stiff breeze and a bit of drama as the tender caught on the swell and tipped over because it wasn't hitched up high enough. No photos of this as we were too busy doing a quick about-face and hooking-in the oars and other items that fell out of the tender when it tipped. Disaster averted we winched the tender up higher and continued sailing. By the time we were in amongst the islands it was protected and calm, we dropped the sails and motored to a safe anchorage.
