Sailing the Whitsunday Islands - Queensland

We had a look around Airlie beach that afternoon then relaxed on the boat before going out in Airlie beach for dinner that night. We set off next morning with one of the company employees taking us out of the harbour. He gave us a lesson in putting the sails and anchor up and down and using the motors. Once we felt confident we set off under sail and he motored in his tender back to the harbour. This is a photo of Cid Island which is one of the known snorkelling spots.
